    CHARACTER:

    Name: Penelope “Pepper” Channing

    Age: 22

    DOB: April 25, 1993

    Gender: Female

Sexual Preference: Huh? (Not something she’s ever considered)

    Marital Status: Single

    Premade: N/A

Mutation: When the virus hit, Pepper was hit with the single worst growth spurt of her life. She’d always been a big girl, but in a matter of minutes she shot up to nearly eight feet tall and bulked out until she couldn’t be considered anything but ‘giant’. To top it off, her already pale hair turned stark white and she sprouted more. It spread along her jaw and down her back, covering most of her arms and legs and growing especially thick on her hands and feet, to the point where she could hardly see her own toes past all the fuzz.

Height & Weight: 7’10” and 350 pounds, give or take. In other words, massive.

    Appearance:
Pepper’s always been a strong girl, but now she’s an absolute mountain of a sort-of-human. The change left her at nearly eight feet tall, and left her with pretty much nothing but lanky muscle on her bones. Combined with the white hair that covers most of her body now, she’s looks something like a hoax one would find in the Weekly World News. But her face is sweet and open and bright-eyed, still topped by short, white hair, and she moves with a lot of energy. Her skin, where it’s visible, is the sort of pale that turns rosy pink when she blushes.
Pep prefers her clothing to be as obnoxiously colorful as possible. She’s got one large tattoo on her lower back of the exterior panels of Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights. It’s still partially visible, since the hair there is fairly thin. The other small pieces of ink she’s had done (one of Bosch’s creatures on her ankle and a burning giraffe down her arm) are well covered by fur now. It’s not uncommon to find her with paint splattered somewhere on her person.

    Possessions:
Not much; the clothes she’s taken off other people’s backs (hers don’t fit anymore), and quite a few different sorts of paint that she carries around in a big bag. Pretty much anything she could raid from a nearby hardware store, as well as what was left of her art supplies when everything went down. She’s got a crowbar that’s useful for hitting monsters with, but unless they’re very large she prefers using her fists.

Religious Views: Huh? (See ‘Sexual Orientation’)

Previous Occupation: Various short-lived retail jobs and apprentice tattoo artist.

    Personality:
Pepper’s always been entirely content with the world and how she fits into it, though to others she comes off as quite odd. Very little gets her down for long. Most people attribute this to the fact that she is, frankly, about as smart as a box of bricks (if one is feeling particularly belligerent towards bricks at the moment). But the truth is unpleasantness just rolls off of her. She accepts it and gets over it after a (very) brief period of being upset. She can be rather charming in her enthusiastic, extroverted, and sweet-tempered manner. In many ways, she’s a rather childish, in a pleasantly optimistic (and often loud) manner. When she feels truly angry or betrayed, however, she’s always had the tendency to get physical, and her new size makes it exceptionally dangerous.

It’s important to note that Pepper doesn’t see the world the same way as normal people do. Issues are very black and white from her point of view, and she oversimplifies things to a great extent. She’s dependent on others to an alarming extent for someone in her early twenties, and will often make singularly odd decisions and assumptions when left to her own devises. Since her parents were opposed to the idea of forcing her through medical treatments when she was perfectly happy as she was, she’s never been diagnosed with any mental disorder, but there’s definitely something wrong upstairs. Her GP once commented that her unusual talent for art might make her a ‘savant’.
